My views, choices & development
Introduction
PlaceholderPlaceholder. This general section introduces who I am as a teacher, the road that brought me to teacher education, and the context of my final internship (PD 4B). It frames the four competence dossiers that follow.
My Views on Education and My Subject
PlaceholderPlaceholder. My view on education centres on the idea that language is a tool for participation: students learn English best when lessons connect to their vocational future and to who they are. In this section I set out my views on education and on English as a subject, grounded in my own experiences in the classroom.
Placeholder. A second paragraph will elaborate how these views developed during my degree programme and internships, and which educational thinkers and theories shaped them.
Choices During My Degree Programme
PlaceholderPlaceholder. Here I substantiate and reflect on the choices I made during my degree programme: electives, internship schools, minors, and the moments that redirected my development.
Retrospective: My Development and PD 4B
PlaceholderPlaceholder. A retrospective on the main themes of my development and on my last internship period (PD 4B), including the completed and signed Internship Evaluation form, the lesson observation (OTA) and the development-oriented feedback I received, with my personal reflection on both.
Look Ahead
PlaceholderPlaceholder. In what ways do I want to develop further as a teacher, and how do I plan to do so? This closing section sketches my ambitions for the coming years and the concrete steps attached to them.
